JUA: Global Rock
Jua (pronounce dju-a) is playing global rock, it's a mixture of slow, catchy songs (wine and candle stuff, you know) and some heavier rock songs to make the crowd go wild. All in all every song is special.
The sound is original but recognizable, the lyrics in Swahili, Arabic, English and French.

Jua consists of five ambitious people with only one thing in mind; to get their music heard by as much people as possible.
With Ruben on drums, Dennis on bassguitar, Steven and Dennie on electrical guitar and Marjolein, accoustic guitar and vocals, Jua combines the strange with the well-known.

How many times did you hear a rock band sing in Swahili or Arabic? Apart from that, Jua also wants to give a moral message to our public: the lyrics are mostly about war, poverty, integration and injustice, but always in a framework of love, hope and joy. While Jua is playing the songs, they want to be heard by people dealing with these problems and give them some strength. On the other hand Jua wants to give happiness to everybody listening to their music, including rich and poor, sick and healthy, with no exceptions.
